From the very first time we met Morgan and Ryan at a small coffee shop in Wilmington, we just absolutely loved them. Their dynamic together is just so sweet. This only proved even more true at their engagement session a few months later in Wilmington where they both went to college. As we neared closer to the wedding, each time we saw Morgan and she gave us more details about the wedding, we grew more and more excited about it. At her bridal session, when we saw her Hayley Paige gown for the first time, we were in heaven.
The entire day of the wedding went perfectly, everyone was so excited and just overall awesome. The entire ceremony was so touching and special, especially when two of Morgan’s friends sang while the unity candle was lit.
Last November we photographed one of Ryan’s best friends weddings – Pierce and Jordan. Pierce had almost all the same groomsmen and we got a hilarious preview of how the reception portion of Morgan and Ryan’s wedding would go and they definitely didn’t let us down. I was fully aware that when an NSYNC song was requested and the DJ gave me a confused glance that it was about to be great. I assured him the dance floor would be packed. As the evening progressed there were lots of special events. One of Morgan’s bridesmaids sang a version of Copperhead Road specifically written for the newlyweds. Then, Ryan and the groomsmen all sat Morgan down in the middle of the dance floor and sang What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction to her. If you can’t tell, this group really loves to sing and it made our night so much fun.
