Eastern NC Wedding Photographer | Callie + Jared Married

When I first met with Callie early this past fall, her wedding plans were much different from what you see below. She had planned to have a big, fancy, lavish fall wedding with a life size bridal portrait on display (if you know Callie, you know this is exactly something she would want, haha!). Within a few weeks of this meeting she called me and said, Jared and I just realized that we really just want to be married. They didn’t want the stress of planning, or waiting almost an entire year for the wedding to arrive. So, they set a new date, New Year’s Eve. We snuck in an engagement session AND a bridal session just weeks prior to the wedding!

The day of the wedding was exactly what Callie and Jared wanted. Calm and relaxed. The church was one of the cutest little country churches you could ever find, perfect for their day! After the ceremony, Callie and Jared released the pews and hugged all of their family and friends and sent them off to eat (some amazing food and cake). The reception was decorated with deep reds, whites and golds and Callie’s life size bridal portrait (duh!). After the reception ended we took Callie and Jared out for their bride and groom portraits and then they headed out to a nice relaxing New Year’s Eve in their PJ’s on the couch, which sounds like the best New Year’s Eve plans anyone has ever made.

Congrats guys! We love you!
