Emily put a lot of thought into where she wanted to do their engagement session and ended up deciding on 2 locations, each super meaningful to their families. We started shooting at a house in the middle of nowhere (which is nothing new to me, I live in the middle of nowhere), that was well over 250 years old and belongs to Taylor’s family. We didn’t shoot on the inside, but we did go in and it was so awesome to see the inside of a house that old, that is still lived in!

The second stop was Lake Gaston! Both Emily and Taylor grew up near Lake Gaston and have tons of memories there and it’s also where they got engaged (in the pouring rain on a boat…but Taylor wasn’t going to let that stop him!). We’re super excited for Emily and Taylor’s wedding next fall!
