Last Saturday we traveled to Williamsburg, Virginia to photograph Rachel and Tanner’s wedding at Two Rivers Country Club! We arrived to a beautifully decorated reception area with gorgeous natural light (29 thumbs up!), the girls getting ready room had some killer wall paper and a crew of wedding professionals hard at work on getting the finishing touches complete! It was like music to our ears (and eyes). 

The ladies arrived and immediately popped open the champagne and had a quick FaceTime date with Natalie and Jeff (our MP couple from several years ago who JUST had their first baby! Congrats guys). Then it was time to get Rachel in her dress while the guys were also getting ready across town!

The entire day was supposed to be overcast and very gloomy, so much so that the ceremony was almost moved indoors. However, right as the processional started the sky cleared up almost completely to blue skies and sunshine. Just like it was meant to happen. Of course, no one was expecting any bit of sunshine and there were lots of sunglasses left in cars or at home that were dearly missed by many of the guests. But, no one cared, because next thing they knew here comes the Fife and Drum leading Rachel and her dad to the ceremony. Perfectly, fitting for a Williamsburg wedding. 

After the vows were taken and Rachel and Tanner were pronounced husband and wife it was party time! Their band, Horizon, kept everyone dancing the ENTIRE reception and even got grandma and grandpa up on the packed dance floor!
