I first met Kate in sitting in the hallway of our college geology class. Like me, she also expressed no interest in rock or being there so of course we instantly hit it off. Little did I know I would be photographing her beautiful wedding day years later! First off, you should know that Kate & Dan have some of the best friends in the world. They are seriously a blast to be around and they all feel like family to us now – especially the groomsmen. Very rarely do you hear of a photographer bragging on the guys during the wedding day, it’s usually all about how stunning the flowers were or about the beautiful bridesmaids dresses the bride chose. For this wedding I have to make a exception and give a huge shoutout to “worlds best groomsmen” as I like to call them.  We got to know these guys very well back in December at Jake & Chelsea’s wedding and let me tell you, they bring the party! These guys seriously will keep you laughing all day long. If you know Kate & Dan personally, you probably aren’t surprised by the fact that they attract such a outgoing, fun and genuine group of people because they themselves have that exact same personality.   When I first met Dan, I knew he was the perfect fit for Kate. He was down to earth, but yet loved to bust a move or two. haha Kate  looked like a complete goddess in her Sophia Tolli gown and was absolutely glowing all day. While there were plenty of memorable moments from their day, I think my favorite has to be her first look with her dad. The look on his face was absolutely priceless and something I will forever remember about their wedding day. Not far behind, was meeting grandpa Fred. who will be 90 this August. He is such an amazing person and Kate is so lucky to have him! He is also the reason Petey the Pirate was in attendance for the wedding! 🙂 I could go on and on, but i’ll just let you enjoy pictures from their amazing wedding day instead! Congrats Kate & Dan we love you both!
