Happy Monday everyone! We are so excited to be sharing Alex & Randall’s beautiful Merrimon Wynne wedding on the blog tonight! You should first know that these two were married on one of the COLDEST days we have photographed yet! The high was literally 32 degrees and windy. We could never thank Alex, Randall and all of their bridal party enough for being so cooperative for photos and helping them go as fast as possible! Merrimon Wynne has always been a venue we’ve wanted to photograph at due to it’s large historic windows and covered porches – a photographers dream! When Alex told me she had chose such a stunning place for her wedding my heart instantly fluttered! I knew she would be the perfect bride for such a dreamy setting! Something else you may not know is Alex was actually my very first friend in life! Most of my earliest childhood memories from beach trips to trick or treating in the neighborhood include her. What an honor it was to be chosen to photograph her day, I cannot even begin to tell you! I literally almost lost it when she saw her dad for the first time and during their father daughter dance- these moments are the ones I will cherish most from the day. Seeing Alex and Randall together throughout the day (even on the coldest day of the year) brought so much warmth and joy to all of us. Together their happiness truly just shines and they could hardly look at each other without smiling or laughing. After dinner they danced the night away together with their friends and I don’t think either of them really ever left the dance floor! They could often be caught getting down together or wrapped up in each others arms, still smiling so big and still laughing! This is truly how you know you have found your person. Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Swift! We loved every minute of your amazing wedding day and wish you all of the happiness in the world!
